Paola Valbonesi has been elected Director of the Department of Economics and Management "Marco Fanno" of the University of Padova.

Paola Valbonesi, Full Professor of Economics, will be the first female Director of our Department. She will lead our Department for the next 4 years (2021-2025). 

"First of all, I would like to congratulate Prof. Paola Valbonesi on her election as Director of the Department of Economics and Management “Marco Fanno”.

I am sure that Prof. Valbonesi will be very proud to be the first woman to hold this important position!

I would also like to thank all the candidates who have given their time, intelligence and passion to the Department.

It is good news for all of us that we have such important resources to rely on for governing our common home, now and in the future.

My warmest wishes for a successful term to Prof. Valbonesi.
