The Department of Economics and Management at the University of Padova is actively searching for brilliant and promising scholars to fill the following three positions:

• Senior (Tenure-Track) Assistant Professor / Associate Professor in Energy and Environmental Economics/ Public Economics
• Senior (Tenure-Track) Assistant Professor in Econometrics/ Financial Econometrics
• Senior (Tenure-Track) Assistant Professor in Industrial Organization/ Digital Economics

Teaching involves courses in the department’s B. Sc. M. Sc. and PhD programmes (taught in English). The teaching load follows the regulation on teaching responsibilities. 

These positions are particularly attractive for candidates who have a position abroad since the current Italian tax law grants a near-total exemption from personal income tax for a long period after they move to Italy (between 7 and 13 years, depending on personal circumstances).

Qualifications
Associate Professor: according to Italian legislation, eligible candidates shall already hold an equivalent academic position (Associate Professor, Reader or equivalent position) at their current foreign or Italian university; alternatively, they must have already obtained the Italian qualification as ‘Associate Professor’ in the relevant scientific sector.

Senior Assistant Professor (tenure track position): according to Italian legislation, eligible candidates shall have at least three years of experience after PhD graduation.
