Microeconomic Theory

This research area is devoted to the analysis of individual and group decision making with particular emphasis on strategic behavior and decision under risk and uncertainty. Theoretical research is conducted in the area of mechanism design, collective choice, game theory, auction theory, behavioral economics, with applications to financial markets public procurements, mechanisms to allocate organ to patients waiting for transplants, school choices, antitrust and market regulation, among others.
