dSEA lecture series: "What is Auditing? The Audit Planning Process: Assessing the Risk of Material Misstatement"

We are pleased to welcome Iris Caroline Stuart, an external expert for this lecture series as part of the Audit and Compliance course, included in our Bachelor's degree in Economics. Iris Caroline Stuart is currently Professor Emeritis at the University of Agder in Kristiansand, Norway. She has teaching experience in the areas of auditing, fraud detection and accounting ethics.

In this lecture series, Prof. Iris Caroline Stuart will provide students with an introduction to audit process. She’ll describe and explain why audit is so important for our society and what role plays in companies corporate governance. She’ll describe also the audit process, in particular the audit planning process.
