"Selling cross-border in online markets: The impact of the ban on geoblocking strategies"

This paper, written by Fabio M. Manenti from the Department of Economics and Management of the University of Padova and Marc Bourreau from Télécom Paris, aims at analysing the impact on prices (short-term impact) and investments (long-term impact) of the recent European regulation on electronic commerce (Reg EU 2018/32) which prohibits online businesses from practicing "geoblocking" strategies.
