This Project aims at familiarizing students of our master's degrees with the process of enterprises’ digital transformation. Students develop projects using technology solutions available in open-source mode (based on Odoo Education platform) through the business gaming mode.

Starting from real issues related to key business processes (procurement and production, product management, communication and customer interaction), students perform process analysis (mapping) and develop digital solutions for process management as if they were entrepreneurs and managers of a company (newly established or started).

Students develop skills that are particularly beneficial in the post-COVID labour market, and the growing market demand for figures able to accompany the digital transformation of businesses, in particular of SMEs.

Within the project, we have developed an extra-curricula course. This consists of training sessions related to digital technologies and process analysis with the involvement of professionals, the implementation of accompanying activities and project supervision, and presentation of the developed projects. Moreover, we host 2 seminars per semester with companies and professionals working in the field of digital solutions for enterprises (business analytics, CRM/social media, ERP/MES, IoT, CAD/3 printing).

Business Digitalization has been admitted among the projects of ‘Repubblica Digitale', a multi-stakeholder initiative that promotes digital skills at all levels of the Italian economy and society.
