“Sustainable development and dynamic capabilities in the fashion industry: A multi-case study”

In this study, published in Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Management, Andrea Furlan from the Department of Economics and Management of the University of Padova, Alessandro Da Giau and Andrea Vinelli from the Department of Engineering and Management of the University of Padova and Nicolai J. Foss from Copenhagen Business School, used the dynamic capabilities approach to study environmental sustainability and development in the fashion industry. To achieve green transformation, companies need to develop effective dynamic capabilities, which entails changing their current organizational design by realigning their activities, partnerships, and routines with the changed external environment.
