The 5th edition of the Brixen Workshop & Summer School on International Trade and Finance will consist of a set of lectures by eminent scholars on heterogeneous firms: trade, networks and policies while the Workshop will be devoted to the presentation and discussion of working papers presented by selected participants.

The general aims of the Brixen Workshop & Summer School are:
- to provide advanced training in international economics and international political economy for PhD students, postgraduate students and young economists from all countries;
- to broaden the horizons of young scholars on the relevance of the economics of international trade and finance for understanding the problems and opportunities associated with current trends in the world economy and with the advancement of global economic integration;
- to allow young economists to meet fellows from different countries with a common interest in the theoretical and political problems of the world economy.
The official language of the Brixen Workshop & Summer School is English.
