"Valuing investments in domestic PV-Battery Systems under uncertainty"

In this paper, published in Energy Economics, Francesca Andreolli and Chiara D’Alpaos from the Department of Civil, Environmental and Architectural Engineering of the University of Padova and Michele Moretto from the Department of Economics and Management of the University of Padova, model households’ decision to invest in PV plants coupled with battery storage. Their results show that battery storage encourages households to invest in larger PV plants.
