The workshop aims at exploring the theoretical and empirical challenges concerning the emerging paradigm related to new technologies – industry 4.0 – and the implications for manufacturing and innovation processes in a global competitive environment.

The workshop discusses preliminary research insights of the research project “Manufacturing activities and value creation: redesigning firm's competitiveness through digital manufacturing in a circular economy framework” funded by University of Padua, Department of Economics and Management (Scientific Coordinator: Eleonora Di Maria).
