Who is eligible for an internship?

  • dSEA Bachelor's degree or Master’s degree students: Mandatory curricular internship, evaluated in credits, when included in the study plan and in accordance with specific regulations, or optional at any time during the academic career.
  • dSEA recent Bachelor's degree or Master’s degree graduates: Extracurricular internship, within 12 months of obtaining the degree, with a minimum duration of 2 months and a maximum duration of 6 months.
  • dSEA Bachelor's degree or Master’s degree graduates who have been unemployed for over a year: Internship (placement internship) with a minimum duration of 2 months and a maximum duration of 6 months.

Who are the parties involved in a internship? The intern, the university, and the host institution (the company or the private/public institution). The company tutor and the academic tutor also participate in the training project and guide the intern during the on-the-job experience.

What documents are needed to start an internship?

  • The internship agreement: A "framework" agreement between the university and the host  institution.
  • The training project: Defines the methods for carrying out the internship, including the duration and activities, and is jointly developped by the host institution, the tutor, and the trainee.
