MASFi - Entry requirements (Italian degree holders - regardless of citizenship)

1. Entry Qualification
Applicants must hold one of the following:

Option A – Relevant Bachelor’s degree
A Bachelor’s degree belonging to one of the following classes:
L-18 – Business Administration (Scienze dell’economia e della gestione aziendale) – DM 270/2004
L-33 – Economics (Scienze economiche) – DM 270/2004
or the corresponding classes under the previous regulation:
Class 17 – Business Administration – DM 509/1999
Class 28 – Economics – DM 509/1999

Option B – Other Bachelor’s degrees
Applicants with a Bachelor’s degree from a different class must have obtained at least 50 CFU/ECTS in the following Scientific Disciplinary Sectors (SSD) by the date of the pre-enrolment application, distributed as follows:
At least 9 CFU: ECON-07/A,08/A; IEGE-01/A (ex SECS-P/08,10; ING-IND/35) 
The requirement may be satisfied through one or more of the SSDs listed
At least 6 CFU: ECON-06/A,09/A,09/B (ex SECS-P/07,09,11)
The requirement may be satisfied through one or more of the SSDs listed
At least 12 CFU: ECONO-01/A,02/A,03/A,05/A; STEC-01/A; MATH03/A,04/A,05/A,06/A (ex SECS-P/01,02,03,04,05; MAT/05,07,08,09)
The requirement may be satisfied through one or more of the SSDs listed
In addition to the SSDs already listed, the following SSDs may also be considered in order to reach the required minimum of 50 CFU, up to a maximum of 23 CFU:
STEC-01/B; IEGE-01/A; CEAR-08/D,10/A; AGRI-01/A; GIUR-01/A,02/A,03/A,03/B,04/A,05/A,06/A,09/A,10/A; IIND03/B,04/A,05/A; CHEM-03/A,05/A, BIOS-01/A,04/A; GSPS-06/A,08/A (ex SECS-P/12; IUS/01,03,04,05,07,09,13,14; ING-IND/15,16,17,35; ICAR/13,17; SPS/08,09; AGR/01; CHIM/03,06; BIO/01,06)
The requirement may be satisfied through one or more of the SSDs listed

Please note:
Required CFU in specific SSDs may also be obtained by taking single courses.

2. Personal Preparation – Weighted Average Grade
Applicants must have a weighted average grade of at least 24/30, calculated on at least 50 CFU obtained in the SSDs listed above.
The weighted average will be taken without rounding.
Courses with Multiple Modules
If an exam includes multiple modules belonging to different SSDs:
Each module can be declared separately in the application system. If only one module belongs to the required SSDs, only the CFU of that module will be considered.
No admission test is required.

3. English Language Requirement (B2 – CEFR)
Applicants must demonstrate English proficiency at B2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
This requirement can be fulfilled through one of the following:

  • Being a native English speaker (see the Avviso di Ammissione for details).
  • Providing a recognized English language certificate (see the Avviso di Ammissione for the list of accepted certificates).
  • Holding a degree from a programme taught entirely in English.
  • Having completed at least 30 CFU in courses taught in English in a previous academic career.
  • Providing an English language certificate issued by a CLA (Centro Linguistico di Ateneo) that is not already recorded in the student’s academic career and obtained no more than five years before the application date (minimum level B2).
  • Passing the TAL B2 Reading and Listening Test offered by the CLA (Centro Linguistico di Ateneo) of the University of Padua.

Who Can Apply
Degree in L-18 or L-33
You automatically meet the curricular requirements.
However, the University will still verify:
Weighted Average grade (minimum 24/30) in relevant SSDs

Degree in a different field
You may still apply if your previous studies include:
At least 50 CFU in the required SSDs.
If this requirement is met, the University will verify:
Weighted Average grade (minimum 24/30) in relevant SSDs
English language proficiency

How to Submit Your Exams
Graduates from the University of Padua
The system automatically imports your exams.
If more than 50 CFU are available in the required SSDs:
You may deselect exams you do not want included.
At least 50 CFU must remain selected.
The system calculates your average grade automatically.

Graduates from other Universities
Enter your exams carefully in the application system.
Indicate at least 50 CFU in the required SSDs.
