Amedeo's research interests span across different areas of corporate governance and financial accounting. "I am especially keen on supervising candidates with an interest in carrying out research in the following areas: (1) the effects of (accounting) regulation on banks' stability and profitability; (2) board of directors' responses to crisis and environmental disruption (italian data only), and (3) design and enforcement of accounting rules as a relief mechanism post crisis.
